am happy, my Kafir Limes arrived yesterday. Still waiting for my umbrella trees, Spent most of yesterday getting the plants situated in the new jungle. Had to laugh at my husband's grumbling about all the damned plants. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

Today was planning to plant over 500+ spring bulbs and due to the massive hail storm I've just had it's been called off. Not seen hail this big for a while.

So have to plant them when I can in the next week or 2 before it's too late. Comprehensive Account Security

my Venus flytraps are definitely going into their winter hibernation.
its odd to see as it looks like something is wrong due to colouring of a lot of the leaves / heads being more yellow. but just have to tell myself "this is normal"

looking forward to February and onwards where they will have a huge growth spurt. im unsure if ill keep them flowering or not.

Well today I managed to plant about 240 crocus bulbs in my lawn. Thats about 2/3 of my lawn done now. 30 holes 8 bulbs per hole.

Still have enough bulbs for the rest but sadly my glass back gave up and had to stop. Rest done within the next week weather permitting.

Also still have 100 snowdrops and 50 Aconite Bulbs. They should be easy as I just plan a 5 feet trench top of my garden around the base of another plant that I have no idea what it's called. :P Comprehensive Account Security

News update.

I have now planted all the Spring bulbs I had and now have none left. Well over 500 planted and my poor back knows it too.

Sad thing is I still have a patch of grass that can hold about 100-120 bulbs. So that can wait till next year unless B&M have Crocus on offer over next few days. If not it can wait till next year.

I would have got them from Amazon as last 1's cost £13.50 and for some reason they have gone up to £16.99. Seems a bit steep.

I'm happy to get all the Snowdrops and Aconite Bulb planted in a trench ready for Spring. Can't wait to see these all growing. White and Yellow together will look nice. :P Photo's in Spring.

Can't wait till next year when the whole garden is full of Spring bulbs. Then I'll be finished. :P Comprehensive Account Security

Had a chuckle this morning, with my two adopted daughters. Was having my morning coffee when I looked out and saw them planting candy corn in one of the flower beds. So going tonight when they are asleep to put some candy bars and tootsie pops where they planted the candy corn. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

That's an amazingly cute and fun idea! Think that's exactly the kind of thing I'd love doing if and when I have kids in the future. :)
