Just been and bought 3 big bags of bark chippings. Robbers had soaked them before putting them in the bag so you pay for the water lol.

Also 3 bags of John Innes compost for my seeds.

Just planted my 2 new rhubarb plants I got last month that I've been growing on my windowsil. They look good outside and added a bit of bark around them. Won't be able to pick any this year but I'll be sure to pick any that grown from last year as 2 out of 3 are sprouting great so far.

Also just checked on my googegogs and all 3 from last year doing well. 1 is better then the others so looking like I'll get fruit this year. Fingers crossed.

Also put some more bark around them for protection.

Now to rest my back. :P

Got a cute little Philodendron Brasil (aka Phil) last year though at Waitrose and he's starting to put out some pink leaves! I couldn't really find much info on the cause (or many example photos) so it seems that sometimes they just do that I guess. I think it's really cool xd

first grass cut of the season done on Friday then for somebody else on Sunday.

Also pruned some water shoots off the bramley apple tree. Loads of them a few more years and I reckon I'll have it back under control.

Got some dahlias.

6 Yellow Decorative's.

6 Purple Pompons.

Never grew these before so looking forward to them.

Also 1 more Rhubarb. I got 3 from Amazon that didn't do squat last year so replaced them with 3 more B&Q's grown 1's. So far all looking great.

3 I planted last year will be getting picked next few weeks. I can't wait. Yummmmmmy rhubarb crumble and custard. :P

Also where the hell is my watering can. I last used it last year and put it away somewhere and can I hell find it lol.

Been checking on my Rhubarb and 3 are doing great.

The 3 new 1's I planted few weeks back are not doing as good. I'm sure they will pull through.

Good news on my Gooseberries. 1 of them has flower buds on it so with luck they will give me a nice handful of gooseberries. Not expecting too many but a few after a year would be nice. See if I can get a picture soon.

PS. Still not found my watering can. :@

I went to a local garden centre to buy something to improve the heavy clay soil in the bottom corner of our garden. The very knowledgeable person I spoke to said I'd need loads of grit, compost and soil improver. She said it would be better to research what sort of plants will grow there and did not try to sell me the items. Once I've decided which plants to try I'll be going back to that garden centre to get them. :D

Just checked my roses as I'm gettign a new fence had to take down the ties holding them up. They have buds on now so thats a good sign flowers will be out next few weeks.

Just a shame I can't smell them as it will set off my heyfever lol.

When the fence is done I have to tie them back up before any bad winds.
