Grass is now cut ready to rake up.

Once raked up I can begin planting the last Crocus bulbs I've bought. After these are planted thats them all done with around 2,000 in my lawn. Can't wait till Spring to see the flower.

Can't plant the Snowdrops yet as the aconites have not arrived to go with the snowdrops. Can't have 1 without the other.

Next Spring should look nice. Photos when they flower.

Edited.

Grass cut now.

Crocus planted around 150. 8 per hole and a few holes.

Lawn is now full of crocus. Can't wait till Spring to see them all show.

Potted on some fuchsia cuttings to their new permanent homes the other day - large pots for the shadier spots, with crocuses and narcissi for some Spring interest as the perennial fuchsias don't bloom until about mid-summer.

Swept up earlier ..... leaves are already coming down from the Silver Birch :(

Be planting my Snowdrops and Aconites as they have now arrived. Only took 8 days to arrive lol.

Need to get my strimmer out me thinks as the grass is a little long for the mower.

Can't wait to plant them. Should be a great show in early spring.

Planted the Snowdrops and Aconites in the place I wanted now.

Bad news is I lost the 100 snowdrops I bought. I still can't find them so bought more to replace them. Knowing my luck I'll find them when it's too late lol.

This weekend I am hoping to plant the last Daffs and Tulips and Alliums. Never planted alliums before so looking forward to them. Only have 40 for now. I'll see what they are like and maybe get more next year if they turn out nice.

Going to have a great show next Spring especially with all these bulbs in my garden.

Pictures when they grow.

Got the Daffs and Tulips and Alliums planted now.

Can't wait for them to grow.

Had gaps 4 feet long 1 foot wide inbetween my gladioli. I have daffs betwen them. So should have a nice long row or daffs with tulips and alliums mixed in.

Also planted a few alliums in 1 of my chimneys I've had for years. Can't wait for them to grow.

Spring will be great for my garden. Should be 1000's of flowers. Around 3,000 spring bulbs planted. I can't wait.

Tuffty, your garden is going to look wonderful next spring. :D

I checked on the plug plants this afternoon ( the ones I ordered several weeks ago which took over a week to arrive). I had put the survivors in bigger seed trays and let them grow for a 2-3 weeks. More died but some survived and I transplanted those into a "nursery" bed a couple of weeks ago. Several have died and only a few look healthy enough to get through the winter. I'm so glad I got a refund or I'd be extremely annoyed. If I get any plants grow big enough to flower it'll be a bonus.

I hope so. Last year a lot grew and now I've even more bulbs I expect a lawn full. Spent over £1000 just on spring bulbs alone over the last 3 years. So they better grow.

I'm running out of space now for any bulbs.

I do have a plan for a strip of lawn to cover it over with a black membrane so the grass will die back so I can plant 5,000+
*
wild flower seeds I got that the bees and other bugs will love. Thats for Spring though.

Good luck with the remaining plants you have and yes a refund is good.

Not that I've counted them. No way lol.

Just been out to check on my Gooseberries since lastyear and saw new shoots. They seem to have got through the Winter well. More then happy with them.

Hopefully get some gooseberries off them this year. Need a gooseberry crumble with custard.

You can see the brown lumps is my rhubarb coming back after a sleep during Winter. Good start for it. Can't wait for rhubarb crumble and custard.

Bulbs doing well. Tulips, Dafadils and Alliums I think in there. :P

More pictures soon as I can beat the cold weather. It took me 3-4 mins taking them and ended up freezing. ;)

I hate gardening.

My mum loved it, but always made me mow the grass, or trim the hedges, or do anything around the place for her that she could not do herself. I absolutely despised it, so one day I bought a bottle of poison and sprayed it over everything.

Safe to say she knew exactly who did it, and then made me pay to replace everything.

A very hard lesson was learned that day.

Also I was like 12 when I did this.
