I still haven't got the parcel of plug plants so I've phoned the company and asked for my money back. They offered to send them again but I said no because I didn't trust the delivery companies involved not to take a long time again. During the conversation I found out the first company had picked them up last Tuesday! When they eventually arrive...
if
they ever do, I'm now certain they will all be dead.
@Tuffty.. I'm glad I'm not your next door neighbour! Lol
Although I'm sure we'd get along very well so you wouldn't feel like throwing wildlife into my garden.

I've rehomed 100's of slugs and snails. I'm sure though they find their way back....
The plants finally arrived today. The parcel of 72 "plants" was small enough to fit through the letterbox! They are a
LOT
smaller than I thought they'd be with the plug "pots" being around 2 and ahalf cm tall and less than a centimetre across. All the plug plants I've ever seen in garden centres were bigger and in pots 2 and half - 3 times bigger. Imo these are, or I should say
were
, seedlings! I'm glad I asked for a refund ( which according to the company is on its way ). I cannot see how they reckon the full normal price for these pathetic specimens is £57.88. I suspect the full price ones would be bigger so the advert is misleading.
At least half are completely dead and most of the others are looking very sad. The only ones that look as if they have a good chance of surving are the 6 dianthus. There are no lavender plants included in the selection but there are more geums and aquilegia. Edit to add: if they revive and survive.

After a thorough soak some of the seedlings have survived. I'm surprised that almost all the geums perked up but it's not as good as I first thought. Every tiny pot of geums has at least 3 seedlings in it, some even have 5. This means they've each got very few leaves ( some only have 1 that's still green ) and disentangling the roots might have damaged them.
This afternoon I spent an hour or so gently transferring the survivors into bigger pots. I'll be surprised if many of them grow big enough to plant in the garden.
Checked my rhubarb yesterday for pests etc. I found about 20 baby snails all over it so they all got a new home.
Also picked off a few yellowing leaves and popped them in compost.
2 of them still look good and 1 not so good. Poor thing only has 2 leaves left. The other is still massive and bigger then I expected for it's first year. Must like where I planted it for it to get this big.
Still the other 3 I got from Amazon didn't really show up. So edited my review to say I wasted my cash and won't buy again.
