was going to transplant some of my tomato plants in my green house into a garden patch today. But mother nature had other ideas. Getting a lot of rain. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

Huge thunder storm here lastnight and my whole garden got a good drink lol.

Also just before that I spotted the dreaded Gooseberry Sawfly on my biggest gooseberry plant. Green catterpillers like last year munching on the leaves. But this time some Yellow 1's on the same leaves. Been trying to work out what they are.

Anyway sprayed all 3 bushs with water and washing up liquid mix and they were dropping off like flies. Picked up what I could see due to having bark chippings as mulch. Ended up picking up over 30 and just put them in my compost bin.

Hopefully caught them early this time and I won't lose too many leaves.

Also gooseberries are looking nice and plump. Just not sure when to pick them. :P

Also while I was at it. I had a jar of Garlic chips and sprinkled them all around and on each bush to help keep the buggers from laying any more eggs. Fingers crossed.

Also next year I'll grow Garlic around my gooseberries as that stops them. Well thats what Google said lol.

Marigolds help too Tuffty, plant them around the perimeter to help control pests. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

I'll remember that for next year. I'm sure though I also said it last year and forgot lol.

The Garlic chips seems to have helped. I've not seen a single catterpiller since picking them all off. So maybe just maybe there are no more.

It's also making the garden smell of garlic lol. I may have over done it lol. Full jar down to nearly empty jar could have been too much. :P

Sunday is looking like a nice day for rain.

Hoping so as I'm tired of watering my plants. Last 3+ weeks I've used a lot of water and I'm on a water meter lol.

Next year will cost me a fortune.

Removed the Glue. Might get it some time soon. ;)

Got the perfect revenge against a problematic neighbor with my one of my gardens. Planted the seeds for a fall garden, and fertilized with a mix of liquid fish meal, and farm sludge. They where at my fence throwing a massive hissy fit about the horrid smell, and why couldn't I be like a normal person and buy my vegetables from the store. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.
