Just been outside chcking on my budliah and have to say it's looking bad. Broken branchs everywhere. Looks like the wind wrecked it.

Shame really as it was just coming into flower and the butterflies were all over it.

I'll prune it soon as the flowers die off. I may have to put a stake in it and tie it down. Have to assess the damage when I can.

Only plant that suffered from the winds over the last few days. :@ Comprehensive Account Security

spent the past two days canning fresh green beans and tomatoes. As well as putting zuchinni, eggplant, yellow squash, and okra into the freezer. Made several gallons of salsa and tomato sauce too. Going to start giving some of the produce to a few of my neighbors soon. This year has been the best veg harvest so far in a few years. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

Ugh, this is just asinine and right down moronicly stupid, bordering on criminal stupidity. Went to donate some of my excess fresh produce from my garden to the local food bank yesterday. They will not take it, because it did not come from one of the local grocery stores.

Talk about asinine. With the cost of food on the rise here, and more and more people depending on food banks, you would think they would be happy. But oh no, they only take stuff from the local grocery stores that is damned near half rotted. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

My first attempt at encapsulating flowers in epoxy resin. It was more of a craft to keep my kid and a friend who did a sleepover entertained....but yeah...

Always use dried flowers lmao. The rose of sharon was supposed to be a light pink.
