I cant stand wasps. They make a home under your soffit and kill everything.

They have a venom which they can shoot into you like a hypodermic needle.

yeah i was stung by a wasp when i was younger, was not fun, right on the neck too

Not going to be long now until I can harvest my heirloom tomatoes. Growing Cherokee Purples, White Beauties, Black Krims, Chocolate Stripes, Constoluto Genovese, Yellow Pears, and Black Cherry tomatoes.

My heirloom peppers are doing nicely too. Expect my first picking of them with in a few weeks.,

During the work on our shower room there's been a skip on our front lawn. It was removed today and its left a neat square of dead grass. I'm wondering if we should dig it up and turn it into a flower bed or maybe even a raised bed. A raised bed would be kinder to my back.

The sweet williams have finished flowering so I pulled them up....or at least I tried to. The ground is very hard due to the recent hot weather and very little rain. I got the untidy tops off but digging up the roots will have to wait until the ground is softer.

Found a few leaves on my gooseberries eaten lol.

Saw they were tiny caterpillers munching on the leaves. Picked as many off as I could see around 20-25 of them. Not as many as lastyear but still a few.

1 bush is looking great. It's 4 times bigger then the other 2 so it must like where I planted it. The other 2 although they are doing ok I expected bigger. The bigger bush was the 1 that had fruit on this year. Hope it has more on next year and they mature and not fall off lol.

They are looking good and I'm happy with their progress.

spent most of the morning thinning back my raspberry and blackberry bushes. Had to, because it was turning into a death trap of thorns when I went to harvest them. So some of them had to go. Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.

1 of my rhubarb plants lost all of it's leaves. Which was odd.

Checked this morning and new leaves on their way. I thought it was dead. I may move it during Winter as it got smothered by the plant next to it.

Checked this morning and it has a nice new leaf on it.

Still not sure why it lost them all. Now it's getting full sun and planty of water.

Also Haukur I'm thinking of raspberry and blackberry bushes for next year. I like them and buy a lot of fruit so might as well save some pennys growing my own.
