Yesterday I had a pork joint I cooked in my slow cooker.

Was yummy.

Did 3 meals as it was that big.

Get 1 pork joint.
1 slow cooker.
Put joint into slow cooker on a bed of chopped onions.
Add seasoning to taste. Add 1L of cold water.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Make sure center of the joint is 70+c in the middle to be sure it's cooked.

Cut up put on plate and add what ever else you need to make a meal.

Very tasty. 1 I'll do again for sure. ;)

Yesterday for the first time ever I made home made tomato soup.

Was so easy to make too and it tasted amazing.

Get 20 ripe tomatoes. Take out the tiny bit where the stalk was. 1/2 them.
Dice 1 onion.
Peel 3-6 cloves of garlic.
Put it all on a tray. 2-3 table spoons of oil. Salt and pepper.

Cook in oven 20-25 mins.

Put in a pan. Add 2 veg or chicken stock cubs and 2-3 pints of water.

At this time I added Balsamic vinegar, pinch of paprika, deied basil and cook for 10-15 mins.

Get a stick blender and make it smooth.

Cook a further 5 mins and dish up.

Add croutons and eat.

WARNING. It will be hot and you will make more lol.

Enjoy.

While RS was having a make over this morning I was having a bake off.

I made Raspberry buns but with Strawberry jam.

Had no raspberry jam left lol.

Very easy to make.

200g Self raising flour.
100g Sugar.
100g room temp butter.
Pinch of salt.
1 egg.
1 table spoon of milk.

Mix flour, salt, sugar and butter into crumbs.

Add egg and 1 table spoon of milk

Mix till it forms a dough. Do not nead.

Make into balls same size. Put on grease proof paper. Press a hole in the top and add tea spoon of jam.

Bake in over 200c for 15 mins.

Take out and cool and wolf the lot with cup of tea.

Sooooo yummy.

Made these lastnight before bed.

Bakewell tart.

Slightly over cooked as you can see but the first time ever I've baked this. So not too bad. I just need to get used to my new double ovens. I have a feeling 1 is hotter then the other.

It did eat well. Very tasty with a cup of tea at 6am lol.
