Started to watch the original Karate Kid with my boys on 123freemovies, sadly around halfway there was no sound :/ So we cleaned our teeth and wet to bed.

A movie I'd recommend is Jojo Rabbit, I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

LOVE the original Karate Kid... the remake was a disaster, mainly thanks to Will Smith's kid.

I didn't get round to watching much last night but I'm finishing off The Harry Potter movies this week, just got Deathly Hallows (parts 1 &2) to go.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

I've no idea how it slipped through the net, but I finally got round to watching A Muppet Christmas Carol last night and absolutely loved it. :)

Its my favourite of all Christmas films. I've watched every year since I bought it on VHS then replaced it with a DVD.It doesn't feel like Christmas until I've seen it. I've always watched it with at least one of my sons so it felt weird watching it without them this year. Until now one or both of them have always come back home for Christmas.
The only problem is the DVD version doesn't have the song "When love has gone" during the scene with Scrooge and Belle.
I think this song explains why Scrooge hates Christmas because that's when Belle broke off their engagement although I'm not sure if that's in the original story

I didn't discover that song was missing until after I'd got rid of the VHS tape. Apparently Disney felt the song wouldn't be understood by children. I read some news a couple of weeks ago that the recording of it was "lost" until recently and they're going to reinstate it for the 4k HD version.

edit to add: I've given both sons their own DVD of this film so they can carry on the family tradition of including it in their festivities.

More festive entertainment last night with a fantastic comedy/horror:
Krampus
(2015).

Loads of (very) dark comedy and a ridiculously over the top (in a good way) creatures.
Highly recommended, reminded me of Gremlins a bit.

There are two kinds of Musical:

1: Films like The Blues Brothers, The Commitments, etc. which are just movies with lots of songs performed in them.

I watched "
Dreamgirls
" last night.
Unfortunately it was category 2: Films where people sing everything they are thinking or doing.
These I do not like >.<
