Right now I'm watching a very old movie from 1947 called
The Bishops Wife.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0039190/

It's got some amazing stars in it like Carry Grant, David Niven and Loretta Young.

A True Christmas movie for all the family.

10-10 for a propper classic.

Thank you for posting about this. I found that film on Amazon Prime and watched it yesterday. I enjoyed it. :)

More Potter for me and probably my favourite: The Goblet of Fire.

Absolutely full of action and Harry, Hermione and Ron are at "that awkward age", so there's much embarrassment to be enjoyed as the three pick dates for the Yule Ball.

The three main actors are way better in this, obviously growing into their roles.

Old hippy alert: Last night I watched Pink Floyd's Delicate Sound of Thunder (Live) which has just been remastered from their 1988 tour.

The upgraded picture and audio are fantastic, great camerawork and it sounds incredible.

One of the things that struck me most was the audience - a packed stadium and not one camera phone in sight (due to it being the late 80s of course)... just a huge crowd watching a concert and enjoying themselves.

The highlight for me is an amazing version of Great Gig in The Sky.

Well worth a watch :)
Annoyingly though, I purchased it on iTunes... and I just discovered that it's on SKY Arts >.<
Oh well, I've got it to keep now, I'll definitely watch it again at some stage.

Lastnight I watched 2 movies for a change.

First was:-
The Equalizer
(2014)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455944/

I'm a huge fan of Denzel Washington and any movies he has done. Such a great actor.

Second movie was:-
The Equalizer 2
(2018)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3766354/

Second 1 was awesome and as good as the first.

Was a great movie night and 1 I might repeat a few times. His movies are always outstanding and enjoyable to watch.

Both get 9.5/10 ;)

Ahh I didn't like the second one anywhere near as much as the first, which is a shame as I normally like watching anything with Denzel in it.

The first one is excellent.
