I just finished watching The Suicide Squad (2021). It wasn't bad and worth a watch. I enjoyed it about as much as the first one.

I think I like Marvel adaptations as opposed to DC comics.

I noticed at the end credits it said it was made with the assistance of the New Zealand Film Commission. I'm not sure if that means some of it was shot here or not.

I'm still awake and its almost 2am so I guess I better look for something to watch.

^I agree Jason Statham is so cool, and a hard man.

I watched The Last Frontier (2020) Its a Russian movie with subtitles and a war movie based on true events about when the Nazi's were less than 200 miles away from Moscow in WW2, and how the Podolsk cadets were bought in to defend Moscow.

I really liked this movie. I have 5 Russian movies, most of them are WW2 movies. This is the first one I watched.

-------------------------------------------

I also watched the Bledisloe Cup match, the All Blacks vs Wallabies which the All Blacks won 33-25.

The All Black player and halfback Aaron Smith played his 100th test match for NZ.

My partner introduced me to Doctor Who this week, and we've been watching a bunch of episodes of the David Tennant era, as he's a favourite of hers as far as Doctor incarnations go. I've been liking it very much, despite (or because of?) the consistent, healthy dose of corniness. :)

On a Jason Statham movie spree :) Can't go wrong with his movies

I joined his FB page today. I've enjoyed all his movies; great actor :)

I watched Doctor Sleep, not impressed with the ending. Started watching Oceans 8 earlier to today, just not the same as the first three. Maybe watched about half an hour of it and turned it off :/
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

I think Christopher Eccleston is my favourite Doctor from the more recent ones, but yeah, Tennant was good... and I think a lot of his success was due to his chemistry with Rose.
Jodie Whittaker is quitting soon, I wonder who the new one will be?

I'm currently trying to get through Merlin. Was surprised to see The War Doctor under the credits.

Is that the old TV series With Colin Morgan? I remember really liking that at the time.

I revisited
Suicide Squad
(the first one) last night to get me in the mood for the new one.
While it's very much "The Harley Show", it's a really good cast and loads of fun.
The only negative for me is Jared Leto's Joker... truly abysmal.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
