I'm a big fan od Steve Martin's older films... which is odd because I can't stand his more recent stuff.

Last night's viewing was The Man With Two Brains , which is typical of his older films - a goofy idea and as many jokes as possible crammed in.

Highly recommended if you're in the mood for a good laugh.

Lastnight I put on PlutoTV and spotted
The Day of the Triffids
so watched it.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1332653

It's 3 hours 16 mins with adverts.

I enjoyed the new twist on this type of movie and seen a few like it. The cast was good as well. Plot well you knew what was coming.

I don't really like Eddie Izzard as he creaps me out. In this movie he was really good. His acting was good as played the role very well.

It's worth a watch if you have over 3 hours spare lol.

My girlfriend and I have been rewatching Seinfeld lately, as we've needed some easy, turn-your-brain-off-for-the-night type viewing. It's been great! Surprising how well a lot of it still holds up, and lots of laughs to be had as a result.

Watched a Friday night flick last night that I'd never seen: Sleepless in Seattle (1993). Really enjoyed Tom Hanks' character and his iconic relationship with his son, but as far as Meg Ryan's character goes, I thought she was plain creepy, even for the 90s, and even more so looking at it now. Still, a decent movie!

I started a Lord of The Rings marathon last nigh, I'm watching all three extended versions.
I've not seen these films in a while but they're still incredible.
Last night's was of course "
The Fellowship of The Ring
".

The new 4K/HDR version with Dolby Atmos is just stunning to look at (and listen to).

Lastnight a movie popped up on Netflix that I've had marked since seeing it coming out.

It was
Hard Kill

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11656172/

Putting it all in a spolier. Read at your own risk
. :P

A Bruce Willis movie and you know if he's in a movie you can expect some great acting and actions. How dissappointed I was with this movie. It was such a let down really. He hardly did anything.

As you know I hate putting spoilers. But if you are a Willis fan I would suggest you keep away from this crap.

Sadly I'm struggling to give it 2-10 it was that bad.

The plot was very poor. The location was total crap and the acting was below par. Not a movie to showcase 1 of Hollywoods greatest stars. Bruce Willis should have kept well away from this movie. It has not done his reputation for great acting and action any good whatsoever.

It's 1 movie I won't watch again and totally regretting watching it in the first place. :@

^ I made the mistake of watching that w while back, very disappointing.

Last night was the second instalment of LOTR trilogy - The Two Towers.
Even after seeing these films multiple times, I'm still amazed at how good they are.
Probably the best book adaptation ever.
