. It was a cheap dvd that I bought ( cheap dvds are not always bad films ). The blurb on the back and the cover picture implied a space shuttle was going to crash on an alien world....it was nothing like that. The camera work was grainy and wobbly, acting poor and the story was nothing like the description. It was so bad I wouldn't even inflict it on a charity shop, it went straight in the bin. Thank goodness it hadn't cost much.

Lastnight a New movie popped up on Netflix called
Ava
.
I watched that a few weeks ago, Jessica Chastain is excellent in it.
I (re)watched
Sucker Punch
(2011)
Ridiculously over the top, over stylised, cheesy... and fantastic
This film has everything for gaming fans - a raid on a castle to steal something from a dragon, a battle in the trenches with steampunk zombie Nazis, a train heist involving guard robots and a bomb... you get the idea.
Look behind the obvious though and it's a great story about escapism when your real life situation is as just about bad as it gets.
The soundtrack (partly performed by some of the cast) absolutely rocks too.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

IMDB gave it 6.7/10. Naaaaaaaaaaaaa it deserves a lot more then that. It was trully awesome. I have to give it a good 9.5/10 I enjoyed it that much. I was sat on the edge of my chair rivited to the screen not wanting to miss any of the action.
I was unsure about Chris Hemsworth being typecast as Thor and felt the need to try and remove that from my head (loads of room for that). It was easy to do too. He was just made for the movie. His acting was just outstanding. The other actors too did a really good job. I was impressed with the movie, action and the whole plot.
Totally outstanding movie thats a must watch.
No spoilers from me as the whole movie was just top rate. 1 I'll watch several times while on Netflix and may even buy the Blu-ray of it in January sales.
