I finished watching Truth Seekers over the past couple of days. I hope there'll be another series.

I've started watching another series called Haven. An FBI agent is trying to find out who her mother was. Looks good so far.

Yup, WWZ manages to stand out somehow, good film.

I wasn't in the mood for a film last night so I watched loads of episodes of Scrubs .
It still makes me laugh no matter how many times I've seen it.

I watched a weird (and not very good) horror anthology last night: V/H/S 2.
It's "found footage" stuff split into four stories.

I don't mind that format normally but there's wayyyyy too much shaky camera in this =/
Plus, the stories really weren't that great.

Just finished the mini-series The Queen's Gambit. I thoughtfully enjoyed it.

I saw that advertised and didn't go for it because I thought .... a chess playing orphan kid - how dull is that going to be? ......

But saw your post so thought I'd give it a go at some point. Glad I did - watched two episodes this evening and am really enjoying it :D

I might give that a go myself, it's getting great reviews.

Not sure what I'm going to watch tonight as yet, time for a trawl through Netflix, see if anything appeals.

(edit to add) Completely forgot, new episode of The Mandalorian today! :D

I thought exactly the same, but happy I gave it a chance. Been binging it this week and enjoying it very much. I'm honestly still shocked that it's not dull lol. Get on it, Rooh!

I think I'll have to binge Queen's Gambit, it's only 6 hours total. I might start tonight.

My viewing last night was
The Book of Eli
, an excellent post-apocalyptic story with Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis... plus some really odd cameos ( I won't name them, it'd spoil the surprise).

highly recommended.
