I have The Book of Eli on dvd, I've watched it a few times because I really enjoy it. Hmm. I might have to dig it out and watch it again soon.
Last night I watched a film called Driven. Its a demon hunting film with a difference which I enjoyed but probably wouldn't watch again.
I decided to give
Queen's Gambit
a go to see what all the fuss was about.
I thought I'd just check out one episode to see if I liked it... next thing I know it's 1am and I'm desperately trying to stay awake to finish the lot
4 episodes watched and it's absolutely brilliant, a gripping story and a stunning performance by Anya Taylor-Joy. Can't wait to watch the last couple tonight,

......
I think it grabbed most everyone that way
Kudos to Dong for mentioning it.
Last night I binge-watched 4 episodes of the new series of The Crown.
Thoroughly enjoyed it although I don't think the rave reviews of the portrayal of Diana are deserved; the actress was adequate but that's about all imo.
The actress playing Thatcher was chillingly on the mark with the voice and mannerisms.

I honestly can't praise it high enough, the best thing I've seen in years.

Another one on my "must watch soon" list.
Olivia Coleman is always worth a watch and Gillian Anderson (Scully!) as Thatch is intriguing.
Fun fact: On "Spitting Image" in the 80s, Thatcher's voice was done by a guy.

I felt nostalgic and decided to re-watch
Step Up
(2006) and
Step Up 2: The Streets
(2008) last night.
I watched Grease the other night and I still love that film.
