I am really looking forward to seeing the new Borat film.
Last night, we watched on Netflix, "
The Trial of the Chicago 7
." Brilliant movie.
I watched that last week, excellent film.
More vintage horror for me last night:
Rosemary's Baby
.
Not as good as I remember it unfortunately =/ I know it's regarded as a classic, but it really hasn't aged well.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
We watched a documentary on Netflix. I can't say what it was.
Rules
.
After that we watched Dark Ghost Paranormal on YouTube. He's this Russian dude who ghost hunts in various places in Russia. Several of his videos also feature English subtitles, so win!
Arrr! Only th' Devil an' I know th' where'bouts o' me treasure, an' th' one o' us who lives th' longes' should take i' all.
Yes, it was adapted from The Bridge (I enjoyed The Tunnel too).
There's a stand-out performance from the female lead Saga Norén (Sofia Margareta Götschenhjelm Helin) who, it would seem, has Aspergers, which alternates between comedy and pathos in her dealings with colleagues but overall it's a really very good 'whodunnit'.
Lastnight I fancied a Sci-fi movie and saw 1 I've never seen before.
So I watched
Allegiant
(2016)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3410834/
All I can say is what an awesome movie. If I had to pick 1 Sci-fi movie to be best of 2020 it would be this 1. It had me on my seat rivited to the screen from start to finish.
I don't often give movies this high a score but it deserves top marks. So I'm giving this movie a full 10-10 for quality.
