I started my Halloween binge with The Conjuring .

The first of the "Anabelle" films, and this one benefits from not getting into the lore too much.
A great creepy film with plenty of scares.

My partner and I discovered The Boys this week. We started with one episode and thought it was meh, planning to drop it and find something better, but episodes 2 and onwards have been great and hooked us. Really enjoyable series so far, and eagerly awaiting what's going to happen in this messed up but well-created world. Everything feels very organic and believable despite the fictional elements, and the dialogue and writing in general has been great.

Last night, I watched some more episodes of House, M.D.

Tonight, I am going to watch Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan or simply Borat 2 .

I watched the new Borat film last night and while I found it just as funny as the first one, I didn't think it was quite as shocking.... until right near the end where there's a huge one.

"Borat" is also slightly overshadowed by his fictitious daughter who is hilarious... and kudos to Cohen for giving her the bulk of the funny lines.

More spookiness for me last night with Sinister 2012.

Not as scary as the first time I saw it as it relies on sudden jump scare... and if you know they're coming it dampens the shocks a bit.

Still well worth another watch though.

I did enjoy Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan last night. And yes, Rooh, the near end is awesome. I did enjoy the daughter's performance too. Excellent addition to the movie.
