Last night I needed to watch a Comedy. Needed cheering up. Been sick and needed a laugh. so went back to 1 of my all time fav movies.

It was
Anger Management

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0305224/

1 of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. Watched it dozens of times when I need cheering up.

Also Scouse you are right without Paul Walker the movies mean nothing now. They should have stopped after he passed away. I've never enjoyed them since he died. Also Yes I totally agree with you with The Rock. He is only there for the muscles and to look good. He's a great actor but not in these type of movies. It's going too far.

They should bring back the guy in Toyko Drift He was good. Enjoyed him in that movie. ;)

What would you compare it with?

Hard to compare it to anything, it's quite an original story, but...
Die Hard, on a plane, with vampires

I revisited my favourite Marvel film last night:
Guardians of The Galaxy
(vol.1)

Not 100% sure why I hold this one way above other Marvel films, but it's probably the humour.
Other movies from the studio have funny bits, but they're often contrived and/or annoying.

I watched Fear Street Part 1 last night and really enjoyed it. I'm not really into slasher type movies so it was good to watch this light hearted version of a slasher horror.

I started watching Part 2 but was tired and fell asleep, so I'll watch it tonight.

Love reading through these, I get so many ideas on what to watch :D

Started watching a series on prime https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5555260/

Now on season 2 and loving it so far.

This series has an extremely high rating on IMDb so it must be good.

I'll put it on my list of shows to watch.

Stick with it kiwi, part three is brilliant.

I followed up
Guardians of The Galaxy
with (obviously)
GOTG2
.
Not as good as the first one in many ways, but improves in some areas - the banter between Drax and Mantis which is hilarious.
We also see a lot more of Yondu, and there's a couple of great cameos.
