Last night I watched Parker, a film starring Jason Statham as a criminal with a strong code of ethics. I really enjoyed it but it was a bit gory at times.

I watched a very interesting documentary about the late Princess Diana. It was cool because they used her actual voice for the narration and used pictures and videos from her life even though she died years ago If you would like something to watch on Netflix, here you go = One Piece ^_^

Haven't watched too much as of lately, but I want to check out Doom Patrol and Kyrpton on the Crave streaming service heard nothing but good things. I also just binged all of season 1 and what's out of season 2 of The Boys on Prime.

How is The Boys? I see ads for it constantly, but have never watched it. What's it like, and would you still recommend it to someone who's moved on from the whole MCU/superhero overload post-Endgame?

Definitely watch The Boys. I feel it is a lot different from the traditional movies/shows you see in the DC/Marvel Universe. It feels more like how the world would actually be if humans with special abilities existed. It's a fantastic piece of TV imo.

I would give it a watch and see if you like it.

Last night's viewing was Mad Max: Fury Road.

Although it's weird seeing someone other than Mel Gibson playing Max, Tom Hardy does a pretty good job. It's exactly what you expect a Mad Max film to be - crazy car chases across the wastelands, ridiculous over-the-top villains and explosions. Lots of explosions.

Worth watching just for the guy standing in front of a gigantic speaker stack (that's strapped to a truck) with flames shooting out of his guitar. I can just imagine the pre-production meeting: "....you want a WHAT?!"

Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
