I watched A Quiet Place Part II last night. I'm not sure if I liked the first one more, but it was good nonetheless!

I haven't seen that one yet but I absolutely loved the first one, so It's definitely on my list.

I watched
The Tomorrow War
(2021) on Amazon .
It's a pretty decent sci-fi/alien invasion movie... lots of stuff we've seen before in other films, but the fx are great and the creature design is excellent.

It's quite long at 2 hours 21, but moves along at a fast pace so it doesn't feel stretched.

Yeah the first one was really well put together. The second one gives you a glimpse into how it all started, and then carries on right where the first left off. I thought that was pretty neat.

Ooh, I'll have to look into The Tomorrow War. Good special effects are all that is needed to keep me entertained!

Saw this recently too! My partner and I both really enjoyed it, and that mini prequel part was pretty neat! Both films have been great, and I'm not even sure if I can pick a favourite between the two.

I've already covered what I watched early evening in the Euro 2020 thread, but later I watched another couple of episodes of
Hemlock Grove.

I'm well and truly addicted now!
A couple of episodes in and I had to Google
"why did they recast Shelley?"

Lastnight I started to bunge watch every Star Trek movie.

I started with the second best
Star Trek The Motion Picture.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079945/

I plan on watching the rest all this week. They were all on Film 4 last few days to recorded them all. Yes I have them on DVD but they are packed away in a box and it's buried in a spare room lol.

Great movies and no matter what people say and you will never ever convince me but Star Trek is better then Star Wars anyday. :P
