We watched the rest of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon prime.
One of the funniest bits of the whole show (which is basically just Jeremy Clarkson learning how to be a farmer), is this guy that is occasionally on named Gerald.
He has an
accent
and I can't understand a good 99% of what he says. He seems like a very wholesome character.
But when he comes on and starts speaking, it sounds like gibberish. And Amazon very helpfully detects that we might have an issue understanding, and provides subtitles.
...Except the subtitles are in German. Every. Time.
We've manually switched it to English and those subtitles just make absolutely no sense. It might as well be German for all the good they do. xD
I think Amazon has a problem with some accents. I watched the first 2 series of a 1990's Australian TV soap about a hospital. I have the subtitles on in case I have to have the TV volume down low so as not to disturb my husband when he's working or if theres loud noises in the house ( our kettle is extremely noisy! ).Some of the subtitles were really weird. Its a good thing I have some medical knowledge and had heard what had actually been said because I'd have been very confused. Lol.

Finished Stranger Things last night, and I'm looking for a new series to watch... any suggestions?
I like scifi/horror, but so bored with zombie/post apocalyptic stuff, way too much of it on Netflix etc.
Are you familiar with Supernatural? I'm personally watching 'The Rain' at the moment, but that's post-apocalyptic.
I used to love Supernatural but lost interest somewhere around season 12... I thought it was becoming very repetitive and a lot of the fun element had disappeared.
Now it's finished I might try to pick it up again, just to complete the series.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
