I always remember my dreams, but since some of my dreams are Real future events,
i turned them off.

I do not dream much anymore, i control my heart rate at will, blocked all dreams, i can even block sleep sometimes. I found out, you can sleep while awake but you have to be doing relaxing things like watching tv or in deep thought. By 9 AM you feel you slept and don't get any yawns later, you slept but didn't.

^i do that to view things our minds are not capable of, ever wonder why people thousands of years were smarter than us? they had more time to evolve their minds.

But i do dream here and there, my stress levels have sadly lowered my balance of blocking dreams. reason i block them is some of mine come true,
i have seen 3 of my animals die, 6-7 months later they all had the fate of how i dreamed it from day i had it.

^i rather not know tbh. last dream that like was over 15 years ago. 95% of what i know that can happen next is decoded outside of dreams.

My sleep hours are in havoc given the state of this earth, i try for 8 hours but sometimes only get 3-4. some days i sleep all day to rebuild my self, my stress levels are 30 times past what many would of have ended themselves.
But don't worry about that, "as long as someone has a worse life than I, I can't end my own, would be insulting to those who continue on in worst places than me, i will continue to climb the mountain to help those i speak of" :)

Only way forward, is forward, no matter the costs.

Intriguing read. Sorry about your animals : / Turning off your dreams would be a great ability, could help me sleep better. I think if we use that logic someone has it worse, it's just a quick method to invalidate your own experience. They are valid. And, I hope you sleep better now ( since this was posted a while agoooo..)

I generally sleep 5-6 hours a night.

I rarely dream, but when I do they're mostly unpleasant and I'm glad to forget them within an hour or two of waking up.

The only part of last night's dream I can remember is having a large growth on the back of my right hand which I insisted should be removed. When opened up it had some seeds from sweet peppers embedded in the sides. O_o O_o What on earth was my brain up to while I was asleep???!!!

edit to add:I had lunch with a friend yesterday and had wondered about having red pepper added to my Subway baguette but how that morphed into my dream I have no idea. :P

My sleep patterns are quite irregular. However, after retiring last year, it is not much of an issue. Most nights, I sleep for about six hours. What helps me reset the pattern is to stay awake for over 24 hours. I would eventually crash and sleep for 9 - 10 hours.

I used to have a recurrent nightmare (for years) about my molars falling out. In the dream, I would panic and try everything to prevent the teeth from crumbling out of my mouth. The dream felt so real, that I would wake up stressed and check that my teeth were still there.

I finally broke out of the that cycle, when I decided to let the teeth fall out in the dream. After this choice, I woke up feeling rested and my teeth were still intact. Since that night, I have not been bothered by that dream.

12 hrs sleep today makes up for yesterday

recent dream was:

I was in a classroom and a guy who looked exactly like thanos but wasn't called thanos came up to me and told me to destroy the machine inside a cage in the middle of the classroom so I did and then that unlocked the classroom and I ran out and down to the basement where there was a convenience store and I bought a prepaid card that was completely blank, didn't even mention what the credit on it would be for and the price was $21.40 including tax and the change was $21.60 then the last part of the dream was a spaceship crashed onto a water planet on the only land a medium sized island on the left size then months went by and a building big enough to hold everyone was finished and people were going to the right side of the island that was filled with dinosaurs and then we stopped a person trying to destroy the planet with a shower plug shaped bomb then the dream ended

Usually 6-7 hours. If I try to sleep more, a headache starts to build. I believe it's my body telling me "OK ENUFF, GET UP!" or something like that.

I don't remember much of the last dream I had, but I'm sure I was some sort of steampunk pirate navigating in a flying ship.

Then, for the great finale, I experimented sleep paralysis. No more booty :P
