Hmmm, interesting theory - any thoughts?

Does the music from Wind Waker play there? That would have been a nice touch.
1. Wind Waker
2. Breath of the Wild
3. Ocarina of Time
4. Majora's Mask
5. Link's Awakening <- This game is what got me started with the series back when I was a kid.

I just re-bought an N64 with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. (I sold all my old consoles when I was a kid to buy new games & Yu-Gi-Oh cards ;'( ) Can't wait to get a dent in on these. I replayed them a few years back on 3DS, but nothing beats playing 'em on N64.
Update on this: I didn't realize how pixelated N64 games look on 4K TV's. Currently in the midst of getting a component to HDMI converter which should make the game look as it would on a CRT TV.
When I scale down the resolution, it looks alright. It's still playable and enjoyable, but I wish it wasn't as pixelated. At the moment, it's looking kinda like Breath of the Wild VR, but a bit worse.

Honestly, after playing Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask on 3DS, along with Twilight Princess and Wind Waker on the Wii U, as well as Breath of the Wild using gyro controls, I can't go back to not using them. Same goes for Splatoon.
I'm glad that Fortnite added gyro controls for the Switch as well.

Well, in no particular order: A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Link's Awakening (very excited for the remake, I'd love to get the Dreamer's Edition), Oracle of Seasons, and A Link Between Worlds. I typically don't list them in terms of least to most because I kinda just love them all equally.
Then there's that BOTW2 announcement. Very curious to see where it goes. BOTW wasn't my most engaging Zelda game, but I've learned to accept it for what it is and I enjoy it that way. So, I'm hoping the sequel will at least flesh out the parts of BOTW that I didn't really care for and that it'll be better a experience for me, at least.
Here, I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret!

I turn the gyro controls off for Twilight Princess, but the bow doesn't work right in WW without the gyro controls because the left control stick moves the player and not the bow aim.

A red rupee is always hidden outside Link's house in Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap!
You can dig for it repeatedly all the way to 999 rupees!
Nice! Great easy moneymaking from the get-go
Yep! I just did that other day on my Minish Cap playthrough lol.

It's a reference at least, but given the time elapse from the background of the story (10,000 years from the first incident with Calamity Ganon), and who knows how long since the other games (not to mention in the WW timeline, they founded a completely new Hyrule on a completely different continent, sooo there's that), I just don't think it's really plausible.

Hyrule Castle was the best thing about the game. It was awesome. It felt like a mini-Souls-like game. With shortcuts you opened and things to discover, mini-bosses to defeat.
