If Link's Awakening is an $80 game I will be pretty bummed... unless of course they pack in a bunch of extra content to make it more worth it.

Fingers crossed on another Zelda announced at E3 though :D

Putting a game like that at $80 would be ridiculous, even for Nintendo.

At best it'll probably cost £20. IDK how much that is in $ value.

Well, now that we've seen it includes some sort of Dungeon Designing mechanic, I feel slightly better about it turning out to cost a bit more if it does... but I still think $80 would be absurd... $40 or something I could see?

But wow, wow, WOW that BOTW2 teaser is just... breathtaking...

My opinion on Link's Awakening has certainly changed as I can see that they did add an entirely new Zelda dungeon builder mode, which looks fun! I'll need to re-watch the trailer to catch any details I may have missed out on but it's intriguing.

Breath of the Wild sequel is exactly what I wanted. Nintendo already has my money for this one. Looks like a much darker-toned game, kinda like Twilight Princess. Judging from the trailer, it seems like it'll be more story heavy rather than the strong focus on exploration like in BotW.

Looks like Calamity Ganon wasn't actually killed. I can only imagine the kinda vengeance he's about to come back with.

Na I hope it remains a open world. It's what made BOTW special after all.

And I don't think Ganon can be 'killed' cos him reincarnating each time essentially makes him a immortal. That's probably his true form or something. Calamity in BOTW was basically a 'Avatar' we ended. Not his true body.

But even if we do kill him, he'll just come back cos he's being controlled by Malice. We'd have to end Malice first to end Ganon cos in BOTW's case it looks like his ability to reincarnate is directly tied to the Malice we see all over Hyrule castle in BOTW.

I hope Malice plays a major role in this sequel.

I wasn't saying that I don't want it to be open world, I want all future Zelda games to be open world. I just thought that BotW had a fairly weak and fragmented story compared to what I generally want out of a Zelda game. I mean, the way it was done fit the game, I just wanted a bit more back story, or maybe some more meaningful sidequests rather than fetch quests like "oh hey, go fetch me this obscure guardian weapon that you need to farm Test of Strength shrines for."

We didn't interact with the Zoras, Gerudos, Gorons or Ritos enough on a storyline level. I mean, the DLC packs did kinda help with that, but I still thought it was a bit weak.

Zelda did use the full triforce to take out Ganon entirely, but yeah Ganon will always be reincarnated due to Demise's curse.

..and I agree, I want more Malice. :P
