Favorite animated character?

All of my favourite animated characters are from Avatar the Last Airbender.
1. Iroh, he is wise, loyal, humble, easygoing, witty and thinks before he acts. He is also very powerful, but s smart enough not to let anyone know about it. All the attributes I view as most important in a person.
2. Azula, I like to watch her slowly break down from the beginning of the series to the end.
3. Zuko, watching him go from evil to good is interesting. As is watching him mess up along the way (like when he burns Toph's feet on accident)
To be honest Avatar the Last Airbender is the only animated series I *really* enjoy, while I like many others this is hands down the best series I've ever watched. That is why all of my top characters are from this series.

Have you ever considered watching anime? Everyone I know who likes Japanese animation likes Avatar, and vice-versa. Hint-hint, nudge-nudge.

Well, I've watched around three or so animes in my time, all of which were of the girly variety, haha. I go to college for animation and a laaarge majority of my classmates are very knowledgeable about various anime - it would be nice to understand surrounding conversations between people discussing them and whatnot, but it's also nice to not fit in with the crowd in regards to being an anime fanatic. I dunno, I'm sure there are a good number of animes out there that I'd enjoy, but I don't think I can afford to get sucked into any of them!
And I keep calling it "animes" but I guess "anime" is more correct.
