The ESL thing is a total mess at the moment =/
I can't see any point in forcing clubs to honour the agreement, it's not exactly the best way to start the new competition.

I'm sure there will be some sort of penalty to pay but the whole world in in financial crisis at the moment and fining clubs heavily will destroy football.

In other news, it was great to see fans back at Wembley yesterday, albeit in very limited numbers.

As expected, the "punishments" are a fucking joke.

I think they probably took the economic state of the world into account when dishing out the fines. Clubs have suffered financially this year.

If it were some small clubs, I could understand with such lenient punishments, but not these mega-rich assholes that have been ruining football for decades. It's just another instance of money and wealth being the only thing that matters in this world.

Only a couple of games left to go for this season, and it's nice to see crowds being allowed at some matches, even if it's very limited numbers.

Then a few weeks without football until the delayed Euro 2000 competition begins.

Here we go then, the last day of a really odd season. United have secured second place, City won 1st place last week and now it's down to a fight for the last couple of top 4 rankings.

The clubs who have already secured their places will no doubt rest key players and give their younger upcoming players a run out.

....and just for the record, here's how they finished at the top of the Premier League:

...and now I'm just mentally preparing myself for tonight's big BIG event.
