Sorry, I know it's cruel, but that made me laugh. Banana-skin humour; it always makes me giggle when people get themselves in a pickle like that (not so funny when it's me making a bit of a tit of myself, of course).

It's okay to laugh, it will make a funny story. Anyway as I left I asked if they had a loo and they told me where, so I did my business after 4 drinks, plus water; as I was leaving, not the bathroom door, another door between the courtyard and the cafe, I went to open at the same time as someone pushed it open knocking the door into me, she apologized as she pushed the door open, as I walked through I thanked her, she must of let go the door came crashing into me, it was a heavy swing door that moved fast.

I think my experience in that cafe was karma telling me I shouldn't have spent money I didn't have :|

Oh dear, maybe he can go on his own there next time with a friend? If there's a bus that goes there. And if he's old enough (can't remember how old they are now).

Or you could swim as well ... at least you'll avoid homicidal doors and dodgy custard pies :P

It would be interesting to know if the David Copperfield film is as good as the hype makes it to be.
Wasn`t a fan of Dickens at school to be honest, but maybe the film will be worth watching.
Anyone who sees/has seen it, please let us know
