Yesterday was a bad day for me.

I had a major kitchen disaster. I mean a real mega disaster.

I was making a Egg Custard tart as I've not made 1 in years. All looked great when it was put in the oven. About 30 mins later while making my Chicken Korma my foot got wet. Yes you guessed it egg custard was spewing out of the pastry case all over my oven and all over my kitchen floor.

What a mess it was. Took ages to clean up.

So I still havent made an Egg Custard tart lol.

Moral of the story is. Make 100% sure your pastry case has no leaks. :P Comprehensive Account Security

Just made the above.

Was so simple to make.

Bought the sponge for £1.

Fruit not too much. Cut up strawberries into slices was the hard part.

Home made Custard is the filling.

Icing sugar to decorate.

Making another tomorrow with different fruit just to try out. Comprehensive Account Security

I made another Egg Custard yesterday and again it went wrong. It turned out like an omelette and totally inedible.

Threw it in the bin.

Might try another today but different recipe or just wait for my new cooker incase it's my oven messing me about as nothing seems to be going right lol. Comprehensive Account Security
