Just made them.

My Mam used to make them like these and She showed me how to make them. So I decided to try them and they turned out great.

Home made Mince Pies. Not just for Christmas for any time with a nice cup of tea.

News update.

They stuck to the tin every one of them lol. They are now mince crumble. Still nice though with custard.

I have been under the weather so my wife is making cabbage rolls (secret family recipe) for me. :)

I am planning roast root crops to cook with my oldest after some shopping and getting a open fire going. Potatoes, carrots, yams, rutabaga, turnips, parsnips, and onions! Yum!!!!

@Dadizar Hope things get better soon. The top secret cabbage recipe sounds great.

I've never had yams or rutabaga. Infact I had to Google rutabaga as I had no idea what it was. We call them Swedes or Turnips as they look so alike. I love turnips in stews.

Hope they were nice.

PS.

The Mango Cheese cake I made wasn't that nice. I don't like Mango lol.

I'll make another 1 but with Strawberries. I like them.

Made this strawberry Cheee cake this afternoon.

It looks yummy. Not fully set yet but not far off. I'll cut a slice in about an hour hopefully or wait till tomorrow.

Best 1 so far and very easy recipe. Can't go wrong with this 1. Honest.

The Mango 1 went in the bin. :(
