Pupa does look interesting, thanks for sharing that. Recently I've watched a few episodes of several anime. First one being Galilei Donna, Koihime Musou, Shin Sekai Yori. Didn't really get into any of them that much yet, so not sure if they are any good or not. Animation on them appears decent though.

Was looking at an anime called Gosick. Has anyone here seen it, and would you say it is worth watching in your opinion?

After learning that Pupa will only be shorts 3 minutes in length and watching the PV, I can say with resolution that it'll be horrible.

Galilei Donna was good, but I put everything I was watching that was airing on-hold a while back. How it proceeds after episode 2... I haven't a clue. I haven't seen Koihime Musou since I'm not particularly interested in it, but it looks pretty bad.

Shinsekai yori was fantastic. It was easily the best anime to air in 2012, and would place in my top 40 anime of all time. Keep in mind I've seen over 1000 titles as per MyAnimeList.

Gosick... I can understand some of the negative criticism people may give it. Though if you're just a casual anime viewer, chances are you'll like it. Don't put too much significance on the mystery aspect because the show really shines in the department of character interaction and growth. I found Victorique to be a great character, one of my favorites actually.

Eh, I'm just in it for the cannibalism really, not something you see every day. Didn't realize it was going to be a bite sized series, I usually dont watch those since they dont tend to have much in the way of substance, but the grotesqueness of the sounds in the trailer pretty much demand that I do. If all else fails, there's always the manga (I have to investigate this series in some form, seems like its some pretty f**cked up stuff, which is just the way I like it...)

As for my input on Gosick, I just want to say that by the end its a very good show, but that's not really apparent straight away. I found some of the earlier episodes to be a little on the dull side, think it took about 8 or 9 episodes to really get to something more than just 'ok'.

Galilei Donna is alright. Not that great, but it's watchable and somewhat interesting. It's really historically inaccurate, but I really don't give that many damns on that, so I say it's worth a watch.

In the case of Shinsekai and Gosick, Revive and Jesse are right on the money.

As for Pupa, I don't expect it to be great (especially considering the length) but it looks interesting so eh, what's another 3 mins out of my life every week?

Kill la Kill is my 3rd favorite of the season, although that's not saying much. Anyways, it's interesting, but don't watch it because people say it's like TTGL, it's similar, but only in a few aspects. It's different in a good way, but it could still be better. Still, worth a watch.

From what I've heard (and don't quote me on this because I can't find any solid evidence of this), it's getting some of the highest sales in Japan right now. Apparently they just love watching idiotic male characters and large breasted women (both of which probably aren't all that common in their country, if stereotypes are any evidence), no matter how ridiculous it is.

Is Kill La Kill incredibly similar to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann or is it interesting enough on it's own to watch? I personally disliked TTGL, just didn't find any of the characters to be interesting whatsoever, and characters are usually what interest me the most, and the interaction between them and others.
