You really think the dubs from that era are painful? I actually have found that the only dubs I can actually stomach come from that era, while most of the ones now make me want to rip my ears off and send me scurrying for the remote to change the language the moment the DVD starts (seriously, why is the dub always the default setting...).

Well, I guess honestly I haven't watched too many dubs from that far back, so I probably should've held my tongue on this subject, but there was one dub that I believe was in or at least around that era that was the most god awful thing I'd ever heard.
