Ok, i just finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. My reaction after watching episode 26 was "what the hell did I just watch?". I thought I knew what was going on in this anime until the very last few episodes. What really disappointed me was the quality of the action, the characters, and the fact that they just had to make the last 2 episodes about each main character's psychological weakness (Instead of perhaps an epic boss battle with an angel).

^ I don't know what you're talking about with seasons. There's 26 episodes and a movie. Go watch the movie.
I think you missed the whole point of the show btw.
Like I said Revive, I thought I knew what was going on until the last few episodes. Was this anime supposed to be more psychological than action? Also, when I was talking about seasons, I just meant that there were a lot on entries on evangelion (now I know the other things are movies and remakes.)
I don't know why, but that anime seemed really depressing several times.
