That video looks pretty fake. Dosent look anything like any anime announcement that ive ever seen, uses footage from the first season, and if they had actually set a specific season for airing then the news would have been reported on an actual, trustworthy news source.
EDIT: Continuation of the manga dosent necessarily mean continuation of the anime. I hear the HOTD anime bombed pretty hard in Japan, so I question whether they would be willing to commit to another season. My rule of thumb is that its not true until ANN says otherwise.

I'm guessing this has to do with FT? :0. Honestly at first I really liked it but when I caught up on the series I started watching One Piece to kill the wait and now quite honestly I just can't really bother watching new episodes of Fairy Tail anymore.
That's why I gave that warning, cause the further I get into OP the more FT seems to lose its magic (did I really just make that pun?).
