Seeing your favorites I would recommend:
To Cowboy Bebop: If you like the jazz, definately check out Baccano. It's a 19th century crime series with reversed chronologically and a very stylish jazz soundtrack. It deals with mafia and immortality (alchemy).
To Ghibli: Natsume Yuujinchou because of the youkai fantasy aspect. Kemono no Souja Erin because of the fantasy though it's an excellent tragedy that deals with society criticism very well.

i think i may have found the single greatest thread in the history of forever :3
can anyone suggest a new anime i might like? i seem to keep watching the same ones over and over which are lucky star, the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya (season 1 & 2 & the movie), girls bravo, death note, xxxholic, elfen lied, and code geass oh, i forgot that i also like ouran highschool host club
help would be very much appreciated ^.^
edited to add a couple more:
fma (original and brother hood)
bleach (although i've kinda lost interest now that the arrancar arc is over)
naruto/naruto shippuuden (i don't remember where i am in the series though as i went through a year with out having access to a computer that is able to stream anything at all, it was a dark period in my life)

You watched FLCL? Watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Gurren Lagann for short), it's made by the same producers i believe. It's a Mecha/Ecchi Status: "Retired" From RuneScape. May come back to get 99 Slayer in 1 or 2 years.
