The final episodes of Gosick and Hidan no Aria aired yesterday (and I watched them last night). To keep it short and simple, Gosick was an amazing series, definately one of my favourites, and the final episode wrapped it up nicely. Although they did leave some things unanswered which is slightly annoying. Hidan no Aria was a great series too. Not the best, as the final episode was odd and somewhat cliche if you think of it in a certain way.
Hidan no Aria SPOILER:

Vlad being an ogre-vampire as the final fight? Where did that even come from?

Anyway, I still enjoyed the series nonetheless.
I'm hoping for a second Gosick season. Wouldn't mind if there was or wasn't a second season to Hidan no Aria.

I see we have a completely different taste in anime. I thought Hidan no Aria was horrible. :P I think I should've watched the gg sub, it would've probably been a lot more enjoyable.
This series is stealing everything from other popular series. Aria bears a great resemblence to Shana, but Aria's much more annoying.
And using well-known names like Sherlock Holmes, Lupin an Dracula... really? Can't they make the characters themselves?
The main guy was pretty stupid as well. Everytime he is... "stimulated", he turns into "hysteria mode" in which he acts like a bishonen and has improved reflexes. *sigh* That's even worse than Bossun's "super concentration mode" from the anime Sket Dance (which I dropped this week).
This show is trying very hard to look cool, but it's not going to work with such bad script writing and the usual harem cast.
Don't mind my rant if you like harem anime and tsundere characters.
Gosick on the contrary I liked. Well it also has a tsundere main character which annoyed me a few times, but the stories are quite interesting and I like the fictional 20th-century European setting. The ending was good, I agree it was one of the better series in the last two seasons. So I enjoyed it, but it won't be one of my favorite shows.

Gosick? I got sick with the repetitiveness of the male character's frequently shouting "Victorica" in the series......Terrible guy, horrible depiction of a character so annoying for being "too dependent" to the female character. :P

I can agree to that. :P It's like he has no will of his own.
Their relationship gets a lot better in the second half though and in the end you wish for them to be together again.
"Gosick? I got sick..."
I see what you did there. ;)

Hello. :) I'm looking for new anime to watch.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I am currently watching Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, Fairy Tail, and Blue Exorcist.
I have also enjoyed Code Geass, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Ano Hi Mita Hana No Namae o Bokutachi Wa Mada Shiranai and Death Note.
Thank you.
