The summer season has started and I just watched one of the first shows to air, "Kamisama no memechou - It's the only NEET thing to do". The first episode was 50 minutes long, but it was worth it.
A short synopsis:
Narumi Fujishima is a plain high school boy, who has been isolated in the class. His classmate, Ayaka Shinozaki, invites Narumi to the gardening club and introduces a hikikomori detective named Alice to him.
I found the story interesting. It is a mystery anime with otaku characters. The animation and art style look nice. I like the characters, except for the Victorique-like Alice (at least Narumi doesn't keep calling her name
). So fans of Gosick should watch this episode.

EDIT: Anyone else watching Nichijou? Episode 14 was great, I can't help but be amazed everytime by the incredible animation of this show. The quarrel between Mio and Yuuko was very well done. I also love the humor in this show. Oh how I felt for Nano in this episode to walk around with a large wind-up key on her back. And the professor refusing to remove it because it looks cute.

EDIT2: Clan Citadels concept art reminds me of Laputa.
Influenced by the well-known anime movie? We shall see.

I will watch:
- Natsume Yuujinchou San
- Usagi Drop
And eventually some second seasons of anime of which I haven't seen S1 yet.
* I' m getting so trolled by Level E
But I like it!
* Kanokon is everything except good, perhaps the only anime I did not complete. (If you don't count Ayakashi Japanese Classic Horror since I was only interested in BakeNeko).

When I first saw the concept art for the clan citadels, I immediately thought of that floating kingdom in the sky thing from Shakugan no Shana (flashbacks from season 2 I think). Hopefully they'll tell us where they got the idea for it from.
