There's a lot of speculation in the ANN thread, and every ending I think of is... Either bitter sweet or a depressing ending. I'm not sure what kind of ending will appear... I'll be surprised if it's not a "good" end.
I'm expecting Homura to sacrifice herself, as cliche as that sounds, it seems like a fitting end. Homura becomes the embodiment of hope and that is good. This allows Madoka to live albeit in a world without Sayaka, Mami, and Kyoko.
