No, lolicon is similar to "pido" but not to that extent. It's just adoration for characters who look young (or are young), sometimes out of love, or just to protect them. Child hentai would be considered pronography.

Onto a discussion of OreTsubasa. The scene with the little girl was just pure win. Had me laughing really hard. She flashes her pantsu, and it's apparent that she wears adult underwear. Funny, and the dark skinned man's respond was just funny.
"I told you to not do that! Men in this country are "pido"!"
And then the Japanese character's response:
"Hey! What's with that stereotype?!"

Im just gonna add a little onto what Agnosia said concerning Lolicon.
Personally, i would say that it occupies the middle ground between the two definitions we've had already, being neither outright H material (although such things do exist in their own category) but not quite what Agnosia said, which i think more suits the definition of Moe (yes, i just defined the undefinable).
Quite simply, lolicon is when (usually) moe character types are used in tandem with Ecchi content.


@Agnosia: Agreed, that was definably the highlight of the episode (especially the thing the black guy said). I can imagine the amount of people that have a low tolerance for that kind of thing recoiling from the computers/TV's in horror though :P . Although the ensuing conversation may have overstepped the boundaries just a little.
That said, its still far from the creepiest anime related thing ive ever so, so....

You guys seen the new Naruto Shippuden opening yet? Number 9? It's titled lovers, so beautifil. It's a masterpiece of an opening. One of my new favorites.

It goes like this
