"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" I never actually watched it all as I got distracted with other series mid way through it, but what I watched wasn't to bad. It's not the best show in the world or anything though. If you wana watch it online it'll be in a million places, I don't know any legal stream though. So you'll just have to use google.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was pretty good in my opinion. Waiting for the film to be dubbed into english atm. You can watch all 26 or something eps on Youtube if you wish to do so.
I heard the ending of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya had a bleh ending to the first season. Friend also told me the second season won't get dubbed into english, staying only japanese(not a bad thing tbh).
The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya was pretty good. There wasn't any differences between the first and second season besides about 10 new episodes on the second season. Apparently if you're planning to watch the second season, prepare to get trolled. The "Endless Eight" will haunt you. There are several sites who have legal streams of it, I would post it but it's against the rule
.
All 26 episodes + OVA are in English on Youtube. Thats probably the best place to go to if you want to watch it. And, as mentioned above, the "Endless Eight" will most likely end up causing you to go crazy.
I'm sure there are many people who have already mentioned. I don't think anime is for kids--unless it may be perhaps Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon and when I was a tween I quite enjoyed playing Yu-Gi-Oh and watching the TV show and sometimes still enjoy taking some time to watch some episodes of it and make me laugh. But as for the great animes that will live forever consists of:
1) Full Metal Alchemist--My favorite anime of all time because of its amazing vision of an alternate universe and the incredible story line and how of all 126 episode it has always had me plastered watching it, even after I've seen all of them 5 times.
I'm gluttony apparently is what this quiz said but that's okay, I get to eat greed.
2)Death Note: A fabulous work of art, all compiled into 37 episodes and is not lacking in intelligent content with very intriguing race to find out who Kira is all the while Light killing people left and right. I love this show and the live action movies turned out to be very entertaining. (I thought they would butcher the series.)
3)Samurai 7: An unknown series but very good an my 3rd favorite series that was popular at one point but then plummeted in obscurity. I love the very story line even though some may say "It's too far fetched, I mean swords cutting through machines. Get real!" But this is what I love about this story, except for the Samurai's who died defending the village, why couldn't of been Katsushiro that got killed, he was young, and always got them in trouble, an was a menace to everyone around him.
I've seen many animes that my sister had made me watch like Fruit Basket, DN Angel, and Code Geass, which in all honesty, those kind of romance, drama animes only my sister and girls like her could watch. Although the women in Code Geass did have some bodacious tata's and those were the only thing keeping me from slamming my head into an untempered book shelf.
If you read all of my post, I want to congratulate you, you get nothing.

Trigun Badlands Rumble should be out on DVD today. Won't be long till we get to finally see it subbed now.
Also just found out they're making a Fairy Tail OVA which is out on 15/4/2011. They just need to make a movie now and it'll start to be more mainstream like Bleach and Naruto. Not that, that's necessarily a good thing though.
Yea, IFC had aired Samurai 7 along with Basilisk, Hell Girl, and Witchblade. Back then, all 4 stories were great and had me very surprised that a channel like IFC would air anime.
