Damn, you've watched more in the past week than I have in the past 6 months. I need to shake up my routine.

By the way, surprised you rated Plastic Memories at 8/10. Thought the male lead was a generic self-insert and the Blade Runner episodes didn't jive with the rest of the show.

I've been a little under the weather for the past week so I've been binge watching. I've probably watched more in the past month than the previous 6 months...

Plastic Memories eh? Idk, I just really liked Aira or "Isla" I guess is the proper spelling according to MAL. Also kinda surprised it ended the way it did, thought they'd cop out with her getting a new personality implant and somehow miraculously remembering everything. I was teetering on giving it a 7 but I figured I'd stop being such a tight-ass with ratings.

I dunno, I felt the memory loss, futile struggle against the inevitable decline narrative was more powerful, instead it became "we need to recover this robot BEFORE IT FUCKING GOES OUT OF CONTROL". Sorta killed the emotional aspect for me.

Yeah but that was only the focal point for like 2 episodes, but I'd agree that it was a poor choice in writing.

Maaan I've been drinking and it felt like I just watched the whole first season of Akagami no Shirayuki-hime in an hour. Sheeeet it's already after 4am, guess I'll get to the second season tomorrow. That was the first anime in summer 2015 by alphabetical order, so I'm still like a year and a half behind. Gotta catch up with what's new and popular these days!
