I could see wherer there would be a certain loss from the books though. At this point, Monogatari is synonymous with the Shinbo style of visuals, it would be difficult to consume the story is any way without them.

Well, I've finished Yu-Gi-Oh season 1. Quite an enjoyable and nostalgic first season. I will now be pausing my viewing of Yu-Gi-Oh to watch Bakugan: New Vestroia.
