All this talk about Clannad After Story makes me wanna....watch it again :>.
CLANNAD SPOILER WEE WOO WEE WOO
It wasn't just the deaths that made it sad, the entire story hit home. I was in my first year of college when I watched it, so I could deeply relate to how Tomoya began to become distant with the rest of his friends as time moved on and each of them went their separate ways in life. Another part I could relate to was how Tomoya didn't really care about school or his future, and had nothing to really live for before Nagisa. And then to have that taken from him, the person who basically saved his life, ugh it was depressing to watch :<.
I think one of the most touching moments of it though was when Tomoya goes on that trip with Ushio. How he started to realize he had become just like the dad he always despised and began to understand what he had gone through. The most touching part was when (can't remember very well, watched like two years ago) Ushio was in that field and Tomoya promises to be a real father to her. Gotta admit that got the tears flowing.
