Wolfgod - I'm inclined to agree with you, except

the characters are so over the top they seem to acknowledge it and they make no effect to be serious at all.

That's the joke. It isn't just the characters, but the entire series. It doesn't take itself seriously and is self-aware. It's satire on modern anime. The only reason I dropped it was because I wasn't really in the mood for it at the time, but I'm not averse to picking it up again. I thought the whole front tail thing was hilarious tbh.

those two lovey dovey couples killed the show, granted it's probably intentional, but still if those two didn't exist I would have rated it higher...

also why the hell can't I say vir-gin?!?!?!

the censored out words are vir-gin, bon-er, lib-ido and b00bs for those who are curious... "All men are jealous and stupid, and all women are stupid to be happy about it, idiots are everywhere you look…"

I give it a 10/10 straight up and I rarely do that.

Mirai Nikki was an amazing show. i dont know why someone would not agree. They must never have had a relationship before....

Guilty Crown is not one of the worst shows. Whether people want to admit it or not, it does have an amazing soundtrack. And compared to the many anime that get overrated or high remarks, its soundtrack is superb. Most shows of the shows that get lots of love are actually really underrated and so over simplified that a 3 year old could get it. They just have flashy stuff that keep peoples tiny attention spans interested. Guilty Crown could have been done better. It was a bit "stupid" in some areas. But the soundtrack gives it at least a 5/10 rating alone. I'd give it an 8/10 overall but I'm not sure whether to say thats good or bad. It's definitely on my rewatch section; right after | K | (which also has an amazing soundtrack.

Of the thousands of dollars of anime I own, Buying something like Guilty Crown would be more worth the money than half of the ~300+ shows I've seen.

Mwuhaha, I have already seen it.

I'd only ever buy Guilty Crown if I could get the BD limited edition for under $20. Even then I probably wouldn't even want it. Not like the opportunity would ever present itself anyway.
