Honestly, I wouldn't really call Hanayamata a CGD**. It satisfies the prerequisites for it certainly (involving girls and things), but to really qualify as being a CGD** there is a certain demand for an absense or critical weakness of narrative and for the 'story' to be character or situationally driven.

That's not really the case in this scenario though. Every episode has actually been pushed forward by the necessities of plot-advancement and the central themes, so it's really more a SOL dramedy with cute girls.
