~The only thing I like more than dubs is pushing needles into my eyes~
It's funny, the feeling that finally finishing a series you started long ago gives you. Although your glad to finally see the series come to satisfying conclusion, there's a certain feeling, sad and kind of lonely, like a small piece of you has been lost. How very strange. So much more so when the series ends not with final, definite ending, but a simplee 'that's just the way it is...'.
On the flip side of my series-end melancholy, anyone else watching Hanayamata? Was originally going to give it a pass since it seemed neither interesting or particularly novel in concept, but it popped up in my torrent feed when I was looking for Hanamonogatari, so I figured I would give it a try, and I've found that I really like it. Perhaps it's just that I find similarities with myself in the level of enthusiasm that Hana displays toward her interests, but for some reason I find the show incredibly fun and smile-inducing (although Naru's mediocrity complex is kind of grating...).
