Unfortunately we never get screenings of anime films here. Except for events held by fans that hold screenings of old movies. Even then, those are very rare.

After being on a dry spell for several months (unfortunately nothing I wanted to watch), Masamune-kun no Revenge & Youjo Senki caught my interest and so far so good.

Pretty rare here to be honest. Has to be a well known series such as Dragonball or Monogatari, and there has to be a major licensing company such as Funimation or Aniplex willing to pick it up. The smaller stuff doesn't make it in because it isn't well known, or it simply isn't licensed, no matter how much we may want it to. If the licensing companies don't think they can make enough profit, they won't fund any kind of a theatrical release, and will go straight to BluRay releases, assuming it's licensed at all.

In the US, yeah. I've caught the first two movies in theaters when they screened. I seem to remember reading they did Canada screenings of the first movie about the same time the second one was screening in the US, which was in October. Currently waiting for tickets for the third one to go on sale so I can buy one.

Tickets for the US screenings have been about 15 dollars, don't know what the Canada ones went for. Screenings have been 1-4 days, with one screening a day, at least in my area. For the last one there were only two screenings.
