Garystuito is just a combination of 'Kirito' (the main characters gamer name) with 'Gary Stu', the male equivalent of Mary Sue, which is a character for whom the circumstances of the universe inexplicably bend in their favor and who typically excels at everything. Oftern the mark of a writer having poor characterization skills.

Seen the first episode of WIXOSS. Only watched it because I was bored and it was the first anime of it's season to come out, and I didn't continue from there because it didn't interest me. Not really fond of anime with card-games involved, I'm still yet to see anyone do anything significantly different with the genre.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. I've give WIXOSS a chance, like I do with most anime.

Hey guys. I had some issues with java and rune scape didn't work for A wile.
But I did get to watch some anime and enjoyed it so wasn't completely boring.

Hello. Which anime?

So, I just finished up Fate/Stay Night and honestly, I don't think it was that good. Interesting subject matter to be sure, but I find the quality of the adaptation questionable (I'm assuming the adaptation is to blame). Especially toward the end, the story became fragmented, things weren't really well explained and sometimes stuff would just happen or be happening without the reasoning behind it being properly established, sometimes made up with an infodrop later and sometimes just forgotten about....

Onto Fate/Zero now. Different studio and with the blood-stained pen of one Gen Urobuchi involved, so I'll not disregard the whole franchise just yet.

I really wish I knew this thread existed a while ago.

So who are my One Piece fans here? (My favorite series)

I've watched around 30 animes and it has to be my favorite. Right now I guess you could just say I'm watching popular animes (There's just so many of them) and I'm currently watching Hellsing and plan to watch Clannad and then After-story after.

Giving most anime a chance? you're far to reasonable to be a regular poster on this thread trap....

If it's something that I'm not really interested in I'll just leave it on in the background whilst I do other stuff.

If I didn't give anime a chance, I wouldn't have found many of the anime I've enjoyed. For example Non Non Biyori (Nyanpassu!), one of my personal favourites from the last years.

Is anyone else watching Tokyo Ghoul? I feel like dropping it but hoping it'll get better. Yesterday's episode was kind of slow I mean maybe its because Touka and Hide weren't in at all and it was kind of just more character introduction. Also i know its popular but i haven't read the manga yet.

But did anyone else lol at that napkin scene? I mean that was wierd even for a ghoul lol. I felt like I was watching an R-rated febreeze commercial.

Yesterday's Black Book of Circus episode was also really good, I'm happy with how close it is to the manga and i love the way Snake uses different voices for each snake, I had no idea he did that.

Zankyou No Terror was good, they had another riddle, but I was hoping for more explosions this episode lol, oh well I guess its better not to overdo it. It's so far the best new show this season for me.

Last Psycho Pass Restart had the usual new scenes. I really wish they added more scenes but it seems official we're only going to get the usual two scenes that are just mostly talking. But I love Psycho Pass so I'll watch any new scene regardless.

I just love Thursdays right now. :D

Wow, been like two years since I posted here (or RS in general). But my anime list has expanded some. Always on the hunt for yuri anime... +_+ but I do admit watching slice of life after slice of life gets a bit dull after awhile, if only there were more dark fantasy/dramatic ones (though those typically just end up with yuri subtext). Madoka Magica's claimed its spot as my favorite anime, such wonderfulness owo

I watched Akuma no Riddle at the beginning of summer, while it was also just yuri subtext (rather blatant subtext at that :| ) it was great to see something more dramatic and intense with yuri (subtle as it was). Had some stupid moments but it's just probably best not to question the realism of some of the things lol. Haven't picked up the manga yet though, waiting for the translations to catch up more.

Strawberry panic was decent and Sakura Trick was pretty fun and heartwarming though a little too silly sometimes and Candy Boy was pretty okay and Girl Friends was great but dragged some things out too long.

Aaaanndd well... I started watching Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl but the first episode was kinda eh, should push through it and see a bit more before calling it mediocre but still.

-resident yuri fanatic fades back into the shadows-
I watched Attack on Titan a few weeks ago too, admittedly after only watching yuri for so long it was strange to see guy characters and actiony stuff but I enjoyed it and the dark drama was delectable +_+
