Second episode of Aldnoah Zero aired. It was just as lacklustre as the first episode, but did have some really nice animation and we got to see some more character development... so there might still be a chance for a turnaround.

What do you people think?

Also, finished watching the first episode of Persona 4 - The Golden. As a fan of the series and having played the game numerous times I was a little disappointed, even if it's supposed to be a glossed over version of the previous anime. Not sure what it was, but it felt off.

Not really. They spend a lot of time with a perspective character and their dealing with other characters, but the storytelling isn't grounded in the conversations like it is with Monogatari, and the conversations that are had aren't as interesting or dynamic.

I only actually saw half of it, so it might pick up down the line, but it's just uninteresting people talking to uninteresting people in a way that's only loosely bound together by a flimsy 'mystery' plot that the show feels the need to beat you in the face with periodically.

Corpse Party is a great horror anime but major warning, do not watch if you can't handle intense gore, this OVA will give you major nightmares ;*

onto new anime, so far this season, which anime are you guys enjoying so far? So far I'm enjoying, ARGEVELLON, SAO 2, FT 2, Rail Wars!, DRAMAtical Murder and Akame ga Kill!

Between new releases I've been rewatching Bleach and REBORN!.

Lacklustre? What? Is watching frighteningly powerful mechs with matter-absorbing armor obliterate the Earth forces not exciting enough for your taste?

Aldnoah Zero. The action was alright, and the animation is good... but I want more from something than just action lol.

As for Corpse Party. Is the anime based off of the game?
