For a show about terrorism, I thought it was underwhelming. The Rei clone is completely unnecessary, and the 9/11 parallels weren't subtle at all (Come on, "Nine" and "Twelve"? A building resembling the Twin Towers billows black smoke and collapses?). Then there's garbage like exploding fire extinguishers, falling four stories and being safely caught in someone's arms, announcing your intentions online, and giving directions in number of steps.

I cannot remember if I've even seen any horror anime. I mean, I probably have, but couldn't really tell if it was supposed to be defined as horror. The most recent thing I watched that I guess could be considered horror was Highschool of the Dead... but is that really horror?

True horror would be interesting to watch too, so anything brought up might be worth watching.
