On /m/ the discussion was mostly whether the first episode was edgy (death) or a Gundam rip-off (space princess, colony drop). It was pretty expository, but I enjoyed it except for the "shooting stars" ending.

Wait, so in the first episode they do a colony drop? Sounds like a big Gundam rip-off to me. No matter, I'm still looking forward to watching it.
